Destiny 2 PC vs PS4 Graphics Comparison

During my recent trip to Bellevue and Bungie HQ, which was provided by Activision, I got to check out Destiny 2 on PC. The game arrives tomorrow, but I was playing the final retail build a solid PC. As a mainly PC gamer, this was like a dream come true, and solidified that Destiny 2 PC is the definitive version of the game. Still, I had to do a full comparison against the PS4 version I had at home.

Diablo III, Xbox 360, 3DS rule game sales in May

Diablo III was the big winner in May 2012, as far as game sales go.  Blizzard’s dungeon crawling, loot grinding PC title is the first of its kind to take the top spot in physical retail sales for a PC game since StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty did it back in 2010. While other software like Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, Max Payne 3, and Prototype 2 did well in May, hardware was a different story.

Fallout 4 File Size Creeps Out Of The Wasteland

The file size for Fallout 4 has now been revealed and it may not be as big you can initially thought. As reported by ICXM, the website spotted the game’s file size on the Xbox Live Marketplace. The file size will only be 28.12GB. This is smaller compared to other open-world video games. That’s not to say the game won’t be lacking in content and scope. This is just an indication that Bethesda is good at compressing data.

Final Fantasy XIV’s Housing Lottery Has a Serious Bug

Housing has always been a contentious issue in Final Fantasy XIV, and Square Enix’s plan to make houses more available to normal players has backfired. In Patch 6.1, the latest update for the critically-acclaimed MMO, a lottery system was introduced alongside an all-new residential district called Empyreum. Players could toss their hats into the ring for any of the open plots in the district, and the game would randomly choose one player as the homeowner.

Research Firm Predicts Horizon: Zero Dawn To Match Uncharted 4 Sales

Horizon: Zero Dawn, the next big PS4 exclusive set for release next Tuesday, could have some big shoes to fill if one research firm is to be believed. Gaming research firm SuperData is expecting Horizon: Zero Dawn to net about 6 million sales by the end of the year and 8 million total, according to a report by GameFly. That total sales number is important, as it would put the new property by Guerilla Games right alongside established gaming royalty, as it would be close to the sales totals of games like Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

Keeping achievements hidden like this are usually done to prevent spoiling the story in the description, so do expect minor spoilers ahead. This achievement list is a fairly generic one: story achievements, collectible achievements, cumulative achievements, and a few miscellaneous ones, but nothing stands out as particularly egregious here.
