Grand Theft Auto V Online Heists Update Appears Early For Some, Size Revealed

According to a handful of excited tweets from users V7X3 and Funmw2 & CaughtCrash today, the Online Heists update hit their copies of Grand Theft Auto V. Before you let that jealousy consume you, it is worth noting that these users can not access the new content. Heists, and many other changes, seem to be locked off for the time being and are unlikely to be accessible before the official launch on Tuesday, March 10th.

Hunt: Showdown Update 1.6.0.2 Patch Notes (PC)

Update 1.6.0.2 has arrived for Hunt: Showdown and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. Developer Crytek has now released a brand new patch for Hunt: Showdown today. It appears this patch is only available for the PC version of the game. The console versions are likely going to get their own patches in the near future instead. Two hour maintenance for the game has already finished, so PC owners of the game should be able to download the patch the next time you boot it up.

New Unreal Tournament Revealed

Epic Games is indeed making a new Unreal Tournament game, and it’s going to be a crowd sourced endeavor, according to a blog post on the Unreal Engine site that outlines the plans for the game. “Let’s make this game together,” reads the post. Alongside a group of veterans that have begun work on the next Unreal Tournament, Epic hopes to collaborate with Unreal Tournament fans, and Unreal Engine 4 Developers.

Sony Has Created A New Studio To Bring PlayStation IPs To Film And Television

It looks like Sony is taking a new approach towards filmed entertainment, creating a new studio, aptly titled PlayStation Productions, which does exactly what it sounds like it would: bring PlayStation IPs to film and television. The Culver City-based PlayStation Productions is led by Asad Qizilbash and overseen by Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios chairman Shawn Layden. “We’ve got 25 years of game development experience and that’s created 25 years of great games, franchises, and stories,” Layden told The Hollywood Reporter.
