EGX 2021 has been and gone, and there are definitely ones to watch that fans and developers alike are keeping their eyes on. Though this years’ event may have been a little thin on the ground, gamers were eager to descend upon London’s Excel center once again to soak up some much-needed gaming content.

The Electronic Arts Event today was not necessarily centered around Crysis 2 but it did seem like it was the 800lb gorilla in the room. Especially after the gameplay trailer was shown.
Which was only accentuated by the 3D trailer that followed that. Perhaps the best in show thus far, Crysis 2 is one that we’ll be watching as the date approaches when we can pick up Crytek’s latest masterpiece.

Zanzibar Gets Remastered for Halo: The Master Chief Collection
Today at San Diego Comic-Con 343 Industries announced the addition of Zanzibar as one of the six upgraded maps to be created for Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The news was shared by IGN, who is attending the convention being held this week in California. Zanzibar first appeared in Halo 2 where it quickly became a fan favorite. It was then remade as Last Resort for the release of Halo 3. Fans just can’t get enough of this map though, prompting 343 to add it to Halo 2 Anniversary Edition.
