Horizon: Zero Dawn Leads D.I.C.E. Awards Nominations
The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences has announced their list of nominees to obtain one of the game of the year recognitions the organization will present on February 22nd in Las Vegas during the 2018 D.I.C.E. (Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain) Summit. Guerrilla Games’ Horizon: Zero Dawn is the production to get more nominations, getting a spot on 10 of the categories, while other of the most acclaimed games of the year, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, follows with a total of six nominations, and has many chances to get some of the top honors considering its previous success at the Golden Joystick Awards and The Game Awards.
Mario Sports Superstars Coming To 3DS Next Year; Includes 5 Fully-Featured Sports
While Mario is no stranger to sports as he’s dabbled in baseball, soccer, tennis and a lot more, this next sports outing for the iconic character and his friends will be taking things in a different direction. Nintendo announced during their Nintendo Direct show that they will be releasing a new Mario sports game called Mario Sports Superstars, which is essentially a mash-up of several sports games in one.
Rather than focusing on one sport in particular, Mario Sports Superstars will feature five sports in total.
Minecraft: How to Repair Tridents
Out of all the combat items in Minecraft, Tridents are perhaps the most difficult to get your hands on, so we’re looking at how to repair them. Tridents only drop from the Drowned, and even then they come out very damaged. This means that you’ll pretty much have to find a way to repair the thing if you want to actually use it. Using one before you repair it isn’t very recommended, as you might accidentally end up breaking this very rare weapon.

Xbox 720: The First Hybrid Console?
The rumors around the Xbox 720 have been swirling for some time, and as we edge closer and closer to an official reveal analysts have begun making their predictions about where the next generation of consoles will go. Guess Who’s Back? Sonic Generations Launches Tommorrow
Sega is getting set to launch Sonic Generations tomorrow, and so far, reviews have been good for our blue speedy friend. Sonic Generations returns to the franchise roots and blends in the twenty years of Sonic adventures into one time traveling event.
In Sonic Generations you’ll encounter familiar characters from his past, with gameplay that is inspired by all of the generations that the hedgehog has graced. This includes a tip of the hat to the Sega Genesis, Dreamcast, and modern console versions of previous Sonic games.

Preview: Skyrim’s Switch port is the same game we’ve all played before
When I went to EGX 2017, I honestly couldn’t stand the thought of waiting in a forty-five-minute queue to play The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Sure, it’s a great game—the second best Elder Scrolls game, just after Morrowind—but it’s a game I’ve played hundreds of hours of before. Obviously, I eventually caved in, mostly because I wasn’t going to stand in a line for three hours just to play fifteen minutes of Mario Odyssey, and I was pleasantly surprised with this upcoming port to Nintendo Switch.
