Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 6 kicks off the extended adventures of Jesse and his/her crew. The series has been nothing if not surprising, as it has turned the tables on the usual Telltale Games formula, presenting a four episode main arc, with a fifth episode to set the stage for the future. That future was pretty open, allowing for endless possibilities, and while A Portal to Mystery is a decent start, there are some very questionable decisions here that put the other two episodes to come in serious doubt.

Assassin’s Creed Origins Developer Details Combat System in New Video
A key feature in Ubisoft’s upcoming Assassin’s Creed Origins is its new combat system. In all previous entries in the series, the fight system was a paired animation system, meaning that when players press a button to attack, the playable character and an enemy would come together to attack, regardless of distance so long as they were at least in close proximity. Now, Origins will feature a hit box-based system, putting a greater emphasis on the importance of weapon stats and spacial awareness.

Battle.net, the tool used by millions of players to access World of Warcraft, Overwatch, and many other Blizzard games is currently down and has been having login issues for a few hours now. Blizzard has said that they are currently on the case, looking for a cause, and already rolling out updates to possibly fix the problems, but they have no ETA for a final fix just yet.

Metal Gear Rising Revengeance Release Date revealed in new trailer
Metal Gear Rising Revengeance will arrive in late February according to the latest trailer for the game released at GamesCom 2012. The hack and slash spinoff of the popular stealth oriented franchise is currently in development at Platinum Games.
The trailer lists the release date for the game as 2/21/2012, which is a Thursday. North American Metal Gear fans will be getting their hands on the title a couple days prior to that on the standard Tuesday release date of February 19th.
