Go Behind the Scenes with Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Activision has released a new video looking at behind the scenes development for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. The emphasis of the entire video is how Sledgehammer Games has improved on its storytelling techniques in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. We already know Kevin Spacey plays the main villain in the game so you know the script must be good for an actor like him to be on board. To make the story and setting more authentic, Sledgehammer Games talked with real-life military personnel.

Grounded – Toad Swamp Location – Complete Marker at Toad Swamp

After getting through the initial set of story missions in Grounded, you’ll meet a robot named BURG.L who serves as your primary mission giver. BURG.L won’t give you any additional story missions, at least not until another story update is released, but for now, he’ll give you a handful of missions to complete every day. How Sony Can Come Out on Top of the PSN Debacle

By now we’ve all been made aware that if we’ve kept our personal information on the PlayStation Network it’s likely been intercepted by hackers in some form or another.  Those that are expecting Sony to roll over a play dead at this point, likely have another thing coming.  There’s really no telling what Sony has in store with the re-release of the PSN, but here’s a few ways that we think Sony can come out on top in the PSN debacle of 2011.

Mario+Rabbids: Kingdom Battle Review

Nintendo’s Super Mario characters and the Rabbids are an unlikely pairing for a game coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch.  What’s even more unlikely is the mash-up between these two franchises for a turn-based strategy/adventure game.  That’s exactly what we have here in Mario+Rabbids: Kingdom Battle.  It’s an utterly strange game.  Strange in the fact that Nintendo allowed for the pairing with its flagship franchise that has keenly been watched over by Shigeru Miyamoto, handing over development duties for a game that sees the entire cast of the Super Mario games in a game developed by Ubisoft.

You are able to ask questions to other characters and use this to liken interests and make friends across the world. Miitomo has been described as Nintendo’s idea of Facebook, with heavy influence taken from Tomodachi Life – a simulation game released for 3DS in 2014.

Today Microsoft and 4J Studios unveiled a brand new multiplayer mode that will be arriving for Minecraft’s many console versions this June. Titled Minecraft: Battle, the new mode is a minigame of sorts, pitting players against each other in specially crafted arenas. While the news just broke today of this mode’s existence, we actually got to go hands-on with it awhile back (see more gameplay footage here). Having not played Minecraft in a while, it was surprising how quickly this new mode brought me right back into the fold, and left me with a desire to play more going forward.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: How to Open Gates in World of Light

As you wander the large, open expanses of SSBU’s World of Light adventure mode you will encounter tons of random gates. These gates seem to lock you out of additional areas of the map, often making you quest around for hours before finding another way through. This has left many players wondering what these gates are for, and more importantly how do you get past them. Here’s how to open gates in World of Light for Super Smash Bros.
