A Big Half-Life 3 Poster Trolls Everyone At Gamescom 2016
There is a big Half-Life 3 poster being displayed at Gamescom 2016 today, but the sad news is that it’s all a big joke. It will catch the eye of attendees though.
Eurogamer took a picture outside of the Kolnmesse convention centre today at Gamescom 2016. You can see the poster says “Half-Life 3” although the fine print tells you it’s just a joke.
It really says: “Half-Life: 3 editors who played it back then”.
Batman: Arkham Knight will not see the return of The Joker
The Joker will not return in Batman: Arkham Knight, according to Rocksteady’s Sefton Hill. In a recent interview with Game Informer, Hill explains why we won’t be seeing the infamous villain making a return appearance in Arkham Knight. “He’s Dead Dead Dead,” says Rocksteady If you do head over to the video interview, be forewarned, there are plenty of spoilers. “One thing we really wanted to respect were the events of Arkham City,” says Hill.
Call of Duty: Ghosts Season Pass Details
Activision has released a trailer for the Call of Duty: Ghosts Season Pass. Similar to previous years, Call of Duty: Ghosts will offer four downloadable content map packs. These will include multiplayer maps, new weapons, and a four-part episodic release of expansion content for the Extinction Mode. The Season Pass for Call of Duty: Ghosts also gives you access to in-game items to customize your squad members. The four content packs: Onslaught, Devastation, Invasion, and Nemesis included in the season pass can be used across both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One or PS3 and PS4, if you’ve recently upgraded to next-gen consoles, or plan to do so in the coming months.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot – How To Beat Saibamen
One of the most iconic moments in all of Dragon Ball is when a Saibaman grabs onto Yamcha and explodes, killing the long running character. His body just laying in a fetal position in a crater has led to many different memes and even a Funko Pop figure, so you knew that had to be in the game in some capacity. Before that moment though, you get a chance to fight against the Saibamen as Gohan with a little help from Yamcha in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot
Fortnite Update 3.19 Patch Notes
Update 3.19 has arrived for Fortnite, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.
Epic Games already released update 3.18 earlier this week and this was a big patch. Update 3.18 included Superman and even Rick from Rick and Morty among other things. Some visual updates and new resources were also introduced to the game as well.
Unfortunately, Fortnite still suffered from a few nagging bugs which is why a new update has now been released for various platforms.
Planetside 2 on PS4 will not require PS Plus subscription
SOE has announced today that Planetside 2 will soon be arriving on the PlayStation 4. Good news in itself, the developers have also revealed that the game will not require a PlayStation Plus subscription to access on the console. That means anyone who owns a PS4 can play the game completely free of charge. Planetside 2 has been out for quite some time on the PC, but SOE says that they are adding new systems and features to the PS4 release (as well as PC).
Sonic Forces Adds Third Gameplay Style with New Customizable Character
Sega has just announced that Sonic Forces will feature a new playable character that will offer a third play style for the game. The title promises to merge the two major eras of the Sonic franchise, bringing together both the platforming focused classic style and the more fast-paced and action-oriented modern style. Now a third option is available, and a brand new character is the key.
“For the first time in the Sonic series, players can create their own original Hero Character, and customize how the character plays and looks,” reads the announcement.
The Saboteur 2 Was In The Works Prior To Pandemic Studios Shutting Down
The Saboteur was definitely one of the sleeper hits of the last generation, being well-received but never really getting the attention it deserved. While a sequel to the game was never announced and the developer responsible for the game has since shut down, there was actually a sequel to that game in the works at one point.
This news was revealed by associate creative director on the sequel, Morgan Jaffit, who recently discussed the development process on the GameHugs podcast.
