Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot – How To Charge Ki

Dragon Ball may have had its roots in martial arts, but ki and energy attacks became even more important as the series went on. That naturally has carried over the array of different video games based on the franchise as well, where these type of attacks are central to the combat. You cannot just use them infinitely though, as there is always some sort of meter associated with your ki that requires charging throughout the match.

Exit The Gungeon Review

Devolver Digital has published a number of great indie titles over the last few years, with Dodge Roll’s Enter The Gungeon being among the best. The roguelike bullet hell game with a dungeon crawler perspective felt fresh when it released back in 2017, leaving fans wanting more. Rather than give a straight up sequel in the same sort of style, Dodge Roll instead decided to go a little bit different route with the spin-off titled Exit the Gungeon.

How Bloodborne Has Influenced The Combat Of Dark Souls 3

‘You Died.’ That’s the message that greets Souls players over and over…and over again. FromSoftware’s dark fantasy action RPG grows more and more popular with each iteration, but the release of Bloodborne earlier this year saw a big change in style and gameplay. Sporting a gothic aesthetic, Bloodborne sped up the combat significantly, and that has left some fans worried that a return to the slow and calculated approach of the Souls games might feel a bit lethargic by comparison.

It comes as no surprise that Nintendo wants to tag all the bases when the Nintendo Wii U arrives later this year. In a recent interview with IGN, Nintendo creative Shigeru Miyamoto issues some reassuring guidance as to what he’s hoping for from the Wii U.

Splatoon 3 Will Likely Be a Huge Focus of Nintendo’s E3 Direct

Splatoon 3 is likely going to be the game that Nintendo has a laser focus on in their upcoming Nintendo Direct.  While this would traditionally be their showcase that coincides with the E3 convention, this year that will not be the case.   Regardless of the naming conventions and exact timing of Nintendo’s upcoming Nintendo Direct stream, it might be a good idea for fans that are patiently waiting for more Breath of the Wild 2 news or to hear some news about a new Mario game that they have tempered expectations for these popular franchises.

It’s time for yet another addition to the widening catalog of Epic Games Store free titles. Last week saw indie adventure RPG Sunless Sea join the rankings, with some intense scares to be had in its rather occult setting. While not my cup of tea, I hope that if it was yours, you found some solid enjoyment in it. This week though looks to bring a drastically different experience. Wargame: Red Dragon, a real-time strategy title set in the early 90s, is now available for free on the Epic Games Store!
