PS Vita Firmware Update 3.36 Is Now Live

It may have been a little while since we’ve gotten any updates for systems like PlayStation 4 and PS Vita, as they have taken a bit of a break for the holidays. However, Sony is getting back going with the PS Now subscription service and that is far from all, as they have also stealthily released a new firmware update for the PS Vita. As per usual with many of the smaller PlayStation platform related updates, this latest firmware upgrade for the PS Vita does nothing but make the system more stable.

Competitive mode is now live in the Valorant closed beta, and players can now go head to head in ranked matches to earn one of the game’s various ranks. The ranking system in Valorant is similar to other similar games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive or League of Legends, but there are a few differences that make it unique. Also, the game is still currently in beta, and Riot has said that things could change leading up to Valorant’s full release later this summer.

Xbox One pre-orders have already surpassed GameStop supplies

GameStop has stopped taking pre-orders for the Xbox One.  The retailer has exhausted its stock of the new console from Microsoft.   According to GameStop, the Xbox One has seen “high demand” since pre-orders began, and it might be hard to find the console come November. In comments made to Polygon, GameStop is still taking pre-orders through their website, and local retailers are likely still taking pre-orders for accessories for “The One”, as well as for the launch games on the system, like Forza Motorsport 5, Ryse: Sony of Rome, and Kinect Sports: Rivals.

Bethesda Shares New Action-Filled Trailer of The Evil Within 2

Bethesda Softworks has posted a new trailer of the upcoming The Evil Within 2 that confirms the sequel’s shift to a much bigger scale. In contrast with the predecessor’s solitary atmosphere, this ‘Race Against Time’ trailer presents a game where players face hordes of the most twisted and malevolent enemies in the streets of a town. That’s not to say that there will be a lack of dark and sinister locations, but it really seems like this new entry is taking the series to a whole new level.

Dirt 5 Update 5.00/5.01 Patch Notes

Update 5.00 has arrived for Dirt 5 here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. On July 20th, 2021, a new update will be released for Dirt 5 for a majority of platforms. The platforms getting the new 5.00 update are PlayStation, Xbox and PC devices. The same update will be released at a later date if you are playing the Google Stadia version. Fortnite Chapter 3 Could Be Coming Sooner Than Expected

Fortnite Chapter 2 has been a great successor to Chapter 1 and Fortnite Chapter 3 might also walk on those lines. Fortnite Chapters are a collection of different seasons and usually, one Chapter in Fortnite is ten seasons long. The last season is the finale, where the game sets the stage for the next Chapter. A new Chapter also brings a brand new map to the table. The current Fortnite season (Season 8) has reached its halfway point, but it looks like we might not get a Season 9.
