Rumor: Nintendo Is Readying Cross-Buy eShop Announcement
Just the other day, we told you about the latest update to the Nintendo 3DS that on the surface seemed like it would be a major update based on the jump to the next whole number in version sequence. However, the only description given by Nintendo was that it was merely a stability update, which was extremely disappointing. Now, rumors have begun to surface on something much larger that this update could be setting the table for in the near future.
Sega Reveals Team Sonic Racing Car Customization, New Animated Series
Today (March 16), Sega held a panel at SXSW in which they discussed their upcoming Sonic racing game Team Sonic Racing. During their panel, they revealed the game’s car customization features, as well as a new animated series based off of the game.
A new trailer for Team Sonic Racing shows that players will be able to customize their cars in the game to a surprising degree that you wouldn’t necessarily expect from a Sonic racing game. The trailer reveals the ability to change just about everything about your car, from its physical parts to its stats to its colors – you can even customize what kind of sound your horn makes.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 PC Mods “Should Be Ok,” says EA Community Manager
Mods recently started popping up for Star Wars Battlefront 2 on PC. Over on Nexus Mods, user Destauch uploaded a pink Darth Vader skin for the game. While these mods can be installed to Battlefront 2 on PC quite easily, whether or not EA will allow them to be used without banning players is another question entirely.
That question was posed on EA’s support forum, where an EA Community Manager replied to a Battlefront 2 player asking if using mods in the game would get you banned.
Tri-Ace’s TGS 2018 Announcement Is Probably Resonance Of Fate
Tri-Ace has something in store for fans come TGS 2018, and judging from recent developments, it’s looking like it will be related to Resonance of Fate.
For those unaware, Resonance of Fate is an oft overlooked RPG developed by tri-Ace and published by SEGA which was released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 back in 2010. Overall, it was a pretty good game with a fast-paced strategic combat system and decent story, but was held back by graphical inconsistencies.

Chewbacca And Admiral Ackbar To Start Filming Star Wars: Episode 8 Later This Month
Star Wars: Episode 8 is indeed going to be in production later this month as Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) and Tim Rose (Admiral Ackbar) both had to cancel their appearances at a fan event.
Peter Mayhew and Tim Rose were both scheduled to appear at the Pensacon event in Pensacola, Florida on February 19th-21st. Sadly, both men had to pull out due to filming commitments for Star Wars: Episode 8.
