Paramount Gains Rights to Sonic the Hedgehog Movie

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tim Miller, who directed last year’s Deadpool, will be working on the Sonic the Hedgehog movie as an executive producer. Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F has proved to be a big hit as the movie has now out grossed Battle of Gods’ Japanese box office total in Japan. As reported by Japanese website Asahi, Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F has now grossed over 4 billion yen at the Japanese box office. This is the equivalent to $USD33 million. This is an improvement over Battle of Gods as that movie grossed $USD29 million in Japan when it came out last year.
H1Z1 Splitting Into Two Separate Games
It appears as though there has been a change of direction for Daybreak Game Company’s zombie survival MMO, H1Z1. The game has been in early access since January of 2015 as a standalone, but today it was announced that it will be splitting into two. H1Z1: Just Survive will have the game’s original open-world, sandbox content; while H1Z1: King of the Kill will be “comprised of multiple, fight-to-the-death game modes, including Battle Royale…” The studio made the announcement earlier today on H1Z1’s official website, adding that King of the Kill will be coming out of early access.
