Black Ops Cold War: How to Get the Sledgehammer

The Sledgehammer is one of the new weapons added in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season One, and it’s locked behind a challenge. Unlike the MAC 10 SMG and the Groza Assault Rifle, the Sledgehammer is not included with the Battle Pass. Instead, it’s available to all players as long as they complete a  simple challenge. Because it’s a melee weapon, the challenge revolves around melee kills, so expect to see a lot of people running around with knives for the next few days.

Dead Space 3 Feeders will overwhelm you

One of the new enemy types in Dead Space 3 will be the Feeder Necromorph.  Said to have evolved from the isolated colonists on Tau Volantis, who resorted to a unique form of cannibalism, the Feeders are a distinct type of Necromorph mutation that travel in packs and nest in masses. Feeders will track you with their sense of smell, and you’ll have a number of options that allow you to take them head-on or try to sneak through their midst.

Firewatch Is Now Available On Xbox One

While many other big video game releases have happened this year that have kind of eclipsed the very solid start to the year for smaller games, one of those smaller games is now available on a new platform. The game in question is Campo Santo’s Firewatch, which makes the leap from PlayStation 4 and PC to Xbox One today. There are no additions that are being made to the Xbox One version of the game compared to previous versions, and it will sell for the standard $19.

How to Evolve Finneon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Players can find hundreds of different partners to add to their party in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Among these potential partners is Finneon, a somewhat uncommon Water-type Pokémon. It’s one of the many Pokémon that can evolve, turning into Lumineon after getting stronger. While players can catch Lumineon on its own, it’s a bit more difficult to find out in the wild. Mr. Shifty Open Beta Announced with New Trailer

Tiny Build Games, the group behind titles such as No Time to Explain and Party Hard, have got a trailer to announce the beta of their new game Mr. Shifty. It seems to have all the charm of Tiny Build Games usual stuff, despite looking a wee bit more serious. Well as serious as you can get in a game where throwing a trident results in the four blokes in front of you getting shish kabobed and launched to the end of the room in a fantastical affront to the laws of physics.

Original Mass Effect finally heading to PS3

In part of a bundled package on the PlayStation 3, EA has managed to finally get the green light to deliver the original Mass Effect to Sony customers. The Mass Effect Trilogy is a compilation of all three Mass Effect titles, two of which had been previously available on the console. The three game set will be available for $59.99 just in time for the holidays on November 6th, 2012. The Mass Effect Trilogy set will also arrive on the Xbox 360 and PC and the launch will coincide with the first annual “N7 Day”, a worldwide celebration of the popular franchise.
