Pokemon Go Buddy System Update Rolling Out, Also Blocks Rooted Devices
Pokemon Go update 0.37.0, or 1.7.0 on iOS devices, is rolling out now across Google Play and the Apple App Store. This is the highly anticipated patch that adds in a buddy system, allowing trainers to choose a Pokemon to travel around with them. That Pokemon will then give the trainer candies at certain intervals of travel. However, while many are happy to finally have this and a few other fixes for Pokemon Go, the update also added some security features that are problematic for others.

Splitgate Achievements and Trophies List
The achievements and trophies list has been revealed Splitgate, the brand new free-to-play shooter that came out of nowhere to dominate the gameplay charts. At the moment, despite being available to play on both Xbox and PlayStation, the trophies are not live for PlayStation. You can still unlock them, though they will not sync to the PlayStation Network until the game is officially released on July 27th. The achievements on Xbox, however, are live and can be earned now in the beta.
Xbox One Price Cut To $349 For Holiday Season
The Xbox One launched last year at $499 including the Kinect with all systems, but Microsoft chose to unbundle the two and sell a base Xbox One console for only $399 earlier this year, which helped to increase sales. Now, Microsoft may have just dropped the biggest bomb in awhile as they have reduced the price again, just in time for the holiday season.
Throughout the entire holiday season exclusively in the US, all Xbox One consoles and bundles will be $50 less, which means the standalone Xbox One will only cost $349.
