The brand-new 1.007.000 update for Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered has been released, giving fans an improved experience. This update comes just after a new announcement from Sony detailing various PS5 games that can take advantage of Variable Refresh Rate. As one might expect, this update allows the remastered title to take full advantage of this feature. There aren’t many other changes from this new patch, but there are a few extra tidbits in the patch notes that some players might want to know about.
Pokemon Generations Announced As New Game Based Web Series
Pokemon is having one heck of a year for its 20th anniversary with a number of new games including the upcoming Sun and Moon. The anime is also still going strong with the XY era in Kalos being some of the best the anime has ever had to offer. Beyond the anime, we also got the very neat mini-series of Pokemon Origins a few years and now we’re getting a little bit more in that style with a new web series titled Pokemon Generations.

Sniper Elite 5: How Does Axis Invasion Work?
Sniper Elite 5‘s coming out soon, and it’s finally adding a cool feature to its particular blend of tactical stealth shooting. Axis Invasion is a companion to the campaign mode that lets you as a player disrupt another player’s playthrough of any given mission in the story, rewarding bonuses to the victors; points toward weapon upgrades and cosmetics for invaders, and EXP for the regular players who defeat the invaders and complete the mission.
Will 3DS Games get a price cut as well?
Following the announcement of Nintendo’s 3DS price cut, one analyst believes that 3DS games deserve a price drop as well. In a recent interview, M2 Research Analyst Billy Pidgeon thinks that Nintendo will need to take drastic measures to increase its attach rate of games to the handheld.
“Nintendo needs to change its business fundamentally. With Wii and DS, Nintendo built large installed bases but failed to energize those bases. Selling in hardware is important, but Nintendo must increase attach rates and third party opportunity dramatically.

Advanced Warfare Reckoning DLC Arrives August 4 on Xbox
Activision has announced the release date for the final downloadable content pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Titled Reckoning, the DLC will feature four all-new multiplayer maps, the return of the Exo-Grapple Playlist, the Trident Reflected Energy Weapon, and the conclusion of the Exo-Zombies cooperative story mode.
The Reckoning DLC will arrive on August 4th for Xbox One and Xbox 360 players, with PlayStation and PC a month later. Below you’ll find descriptions of the four new multiplayer maps in Reckoning.
Blizzard Celebrates 25th Anniversary with Nostalgic New Video
Blizzard, the company behind such huge and classic games as World of Warcraft, Starcraft, and Diablo is celebrating their 25th anniversary this year. To kick things off they have released a new video, featuring interviews with the company CEO and founders. They look back fondly over the last 25 years, showing off footage from huge events in the company’s history, while looking forward to the future of Blizzard.
