Even though Star Wars Battlefront still managed to sell over 13 million copies worldwide, one of the game’s biggest criticisms is that is lacked a single player campaign. EA has given a reason why there was no campaign. EA held an Investor’s Day Q&A session and Executive Vice President Patrick Söderlund answered a few questions that were directed towards him and the company. Hotline Miami added to PlayStation Plus in October
Dennaton Games’ Hotline Miami will available for PlayStation Plus subscribers starting today, October 22nd. The critically acclaimed indie title was recently ported over to the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita, and now PlayStation Plus subscribers can add the game to their instant game collection. Normally the game would run you $9.99. Hotline Miami was added for the October lineup, in addition to Shadow of the Colossus, Poker Night 2, and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix releasing in 2014 in North America
Disney’s infamous Mouse and Keyblade-wielding heroes are back for more with another Kingdom Hearts collection.
As reported by Square Enix by way of Polygon, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix will be released later this year for the Playstation 3. The compilation will include Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, and a remastered version of Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, all on one blu-ray disc.
The compilation will feature new content as well as all content that was previously exclusive to Japanese customers.

Split-Screen will Return in Halo 6 and All Future Shooters from 343 Industries
Halo 5 was a really great multiplayer shooter. However, it was missing one key feature that had been a part of the franchise since its inception on the original Xbox in 2001. Split-screen gaming has been on the way out for a while, with most games moving toward online play to get people together, but Halo had remained steadfast with the feature, until Halo 5. Now, the head of 343 Industries, Bonnie Ross has seemingly admitted that the loss of split-screen was a mistake, promising that Halo 6 and all future shooters from the developer will have the feature.
