The Assassin’s Creed: Revelations Beta went live on the PlayStation Network this weekend, and with that, we’ve got some new gameplay footage cropping up on YouTube. The video is from a full length round of Easy Deathmatch from the multiplayer mode in Revelations.

Dauntless Open Beta Begins May 24th
The Dauntless Open Beta will begin on May 24th according to a new announcement from the game’s developer Phoenix Labs. Dauntless is a free-to-play action game that is inspired by classic Monster Hunter titles. Players team up to take down giant beasts in an open-world setting. Dragon Ball Super Episode 6, 7 and 8 Titles Unveiled
The titles for Dragon Ball Super episodes 6, 7 and 8 have now been revealed.
Facebook user, Gojiitaaf, has unveiled the future episode titles from a Japanese publication. Unlike in July, there will be no breaks. August will have a new episode each week.
Episode 6 is airing this Sunday and will be called “Don’t Anger the God of Destruction! The Heart Pounding Birthday Party“. As you may have seen from the preview last week, this episode focuses on Vegeta trying to prevent Beerus from getting angry.
Monster Hunter Rise: Long Sword Guide
Monster Hunter Rise has its fair share of weapons, but none is as elegant as the Long Sword. This literally long sword, is the closest you can get to being a samurai of the old, able to challenge any monster standing in your way. The specific weapon specializes in wide attacks and counters, which let your control the battlefield and the flow of combat. To do so though, you need to have prior knowledge to monsters you face, or have some really good reflexes, in order to be able to utilize your counters efficiently.

— Great Sword: increased the damage for Charged Slash abilities.
— Long Sword: improvements to Foresight Slash input timing and hitbox detection.
— Sword & Shield: Roundslash damage increased and improved slinger usability
— Dual Blades: adjustments to help maintain Demon Gauge active
— Hammer: adjusted the stun values on charged attacks
— Hunting Horn: general attack power increase
New This Week in Video Games (Sept. 6 – 10)
The month of September started off light in terms of new video games, but it has since picked up steam very quickly. Leading up to the notorious “Broketober”, this month is not pulling its punches, having some long-awaited titles that will already have consumers’ wallets aching before we even reach the 15th.

Super Smash Bros. for 3DS – Tomodachi Life Stage Revealed
In series creator Masahiro Sakurai’s latest Miiverse update on the game it is revealed that Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS will have a stage based around the quirky 3DS title Tomodachi Life. The game, which garnered some controversy over its banning of same-sex relationships, allows Mii characters to interact together, forming relationships and living their lives.

What is Beyond: Two Souls?
Sony dropped a bombshell at E3 2012 when David Cage appeared at their press conference to reveal Beyond: Two Souls. This will be his latest game with Quantic Dream, ever since Heavy Rain came and turned the gaming industry on it’s head back in 2010. It’s apparent that Quantic Dream has a very specific way of developing games. Ramp up the visual fidelity and tug on the heart strings through story-driven and mature-oriented content.
Battalion 1944 Stretch Goals Revealed, Single-Player’s The Highest One
The Kickstarter campaign for World War II shooter Battalion 1944 was incredibly successful, blasting past its initial funding goal and being left with lots more money to play with. While there is still a week left in the campaign, the developers have finally added in some stretch goals to show what they’ll be doing with the extra money to make the game better.
Developer Bulkhead Interactive said the following: “When we hit our funding goal in just 3 days we could’ve released a list pre-made stretch goals, but instead we decided listen to the feedback from our community to see exactly what you wanted and then go a step further by making the content you wanted to see.

Starbreeze Studios may be most well known for games like Payday 2 and dating even further back, to Chronicles of Riddick games, but they made a very bold decision two years ago by developing Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.
