Destiny Silver Microtransaction Prices Revealed

Bungie is rolling out Microtransactions in Year Two of Destiny with the introduction of a new currency that can be purchased with real-world cash.  This new currency called Silver can be used to purchase character emotes from Tess Everis in the tower and can be purchased in numerous denominations on the PlayStation and Xbox Storefronts. Similarly to other in-game currencies Silver can be purchased in a few different variations.  Destiny players will pay $4.

First Forza Horizon 2 Screenshots show an attention to detail

Forza Horizon 2 gets its first batch of screenshots today, courtesy of All Games Beta. The racer from Microsoft and Playground Games is due to arrive on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 later this year. Centered around a music festival, much like the original Forza Horizon on Xbox 360, Forza Horizon 2 is set in Europe this time around. Playground Games says that Forza Horizon 2 will be running on the engine that Turn 10 developed for Forza Motorsport 5.

Sega and Atari Micro Consoles Pre-Order Date Announced

Most gamers are aware of the Nintendo micro consoles, the NES Classic Edition from last year and the upcoming SNES Classic Edition. However, both Sega and Atari have also announced their own micro consoles that will act similarly to the NES and SNES Classic Editions; both are miniature consoles with classic games pre-loaded onto them. Today (July 17), it was announced that both the Sega Genesis Flashback and the Atari Flashback 8 Gold will be available for pre-order starting July 28.

Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows Release Date for New Free Campaign

Yacht Club Games has revealed a release date for Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows as a free update that allows you to play the game as the Plague Knight. Plague of Shadows is a free update that is set to arrive on all existing platforms and regions on September 17th, 2015.  The free update features an all new alchemical adventure and Challenge Mode. Players will need to have completed the original game as Shovel Knight to access Plague Knight’s adventure and Challenge Mode!

Square-Enix Announces 3-Day Interactive Reveal On Twitch From Western Studio, Project CKP

Square-Enix is set to reveal a brand new western developed title dubbed Project CKP. The ‘three-day interactive experience’ was announced via the Square-Enix Twitter account. Fans are encouraged to join the Twitch stream next week on Monday, April 6th which will set in motion the reveal of Project CKP. Everything is pretty vague at this point but hopefully we will hear more as the project is revealed. It is a bit interesting that it will be from one of their western studios, the only thing I can guess is that the chair reminds me of the final mission in the original Hitman: Codename 47 game in the lab.

Blur Multiplayer features on the fly DLC

Blur’s lead designer, Gareth Wilson spoke with the Telegraph about the recently released racer. Among the topics were DLC, and what to expect. The tech that Bizarre created for Blur is one that allows the developer to make changes to game balance, playlists, and other server configurations on the fly.  Just another reason to pick up this extremely great racing title.  Blur was released by Activision on May 25thread our review here.

Call of Duty: Mobile Season 7 Update Patch Notes

Update for season 7 has arrived for Call of Duty: Mobile, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. The update will be coming later this week, bringing with it a slate of new content along with. The update brings two new maps, game modes, a new battle pass, weapons, and much more.
