Gears of War 4: Marcus Fenix Is Not Playable In Campaign Mode
Marcus Fenix is known to many to be the main character of the original Gears of War trilogy. He will have a limited role in Gears of War 4 though.
Gears of War 4’s creative director, Chuck Osieja, confirmed the character’s limited role during a recent interview with IGN. The campaign will focus more on the new crew.
Osieja said: “He’s not. He’s one of the AI characters. What’s nice about having Marcus not be a playable character is that because, he’s not playable, he reacts to things in the world a lot differently.

Avatar Awards, since their inception last year not many developers have taken advantage of what could be a pretty cool rewards system on the Xbox 360. Sure there have been some developers who have adopted the system and rewarded players that take the time to perform pretty meaningless tasks. Left 4 Dead 2 is a good example they rewarded players with shirts and props that you could earn by finishing specific tasks within the game.

Majora’s Mask 3D Special Edition Coming Exclusively To Europe
The much speculated about The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D was finally revealed during yesterday’s brand new Nintendo Direct to the excitement of fans. The US feed for the Direct featured the trailer and talk about the game by Satoru Iwata, but the European feed also unveiled something that will make other regions extremely jealous.
In addition to the regular version of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, Europe will also be getting a Special Edition that is absolutely gorgeous.
Modern Warfare 3 “Drop Zone” Released
Modern Warfare 3 players get a playlist update today for the shooter. Hinted at over the past couple of days, the playlist update includes new gamemodes that features a brand new gametype called “Drop Zone”. In Drop Zone players will fight for control points that trigger a care package drop-off for every 15 seconds that the players remain in the zone. Drop Zone is accessible in the Private Match portion of the multiplayer for Modern Warfare 3.

Rockstar San Diego has new game in the works
Rockstar North is currently hard at work on GTA V, but the gang over at Rockstar San Diego are currently cooking up something new as well. A new job posting indicates that the team which brought us the Red Dead and Midnight Club series is hard at work on their next project.
The listings are for numerous types of programmers that “specializes in the synchronization of the wide range of gameplay mechanics found in a Rockstar open world game,” says the listing on Gamasutra.
Akuma and Taskmaster Confirmed for Marvel Vs. Capcom 3
It was rumored recently that Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 would be getting new fighters announced this week, and it’s true. Akuma and Taskmaster have been confirmed for the upcoming fighter.
Akuma the fabled nemesis of Ryu on the Capcom side, and Taskmaster the skull faced super villain from Marvel lore will both be included in the game as unlockable characters.
The game which releases on February 15th will feature the unlockable fighters by unlocking points which are earned through various methods within the game.
Bungie plans to trump Halo with the choices in Destiny
Bungie is as big a name as there comes in the First Person Shooter department. The creators of Halo helped spark a revolution in the console gaming world, one where first person shooters rose to the top of the heap in terms of popularity. After leaving Microsoft and the Halo series behind, Destiny is Bungie’s next big thing, and they plan for it to be bigger and better than Halo by offering players choices.
