The most hyped movie of the year is almost here with Avengers: Age of Ultron, the latest in the highly successful and long lasting Marvel Cinematic Universe. Age of Ultron has already launched in many foreign territories, but the US release isn’t until this Friday, though most theaters are holding 7:00 pm showings on Thursday. If you are just like me, you love to properly prepare for major movies like this and there are lots of movies out there to watch if you want to fully be ready for Age of Ultron.

Amazing Katamari Damacy Trademarked By Bandai Namco

It looks like another entry in the delightfully odd Katamari series is on the horizon, as Bandai Namco has trademarked a new title that is called Amazing Katamary Damacy. The trademark was spotted by NeoGAF recently, revealing that the trademark was filed yesterday by the company. While it’s hard to tell just exactly what this new title may be, there are a few different classifications with the trademark that range from games to instruments for scientific research.

Battlefield 3 vs Modern Warfare 3: Shots Fired

The table is set for a Fall battle between Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. Like it or not, there are huge rivalries in the video games industry. A hyper competitive space both on and off the virtual playing field, the first person shooter is the most coveted place to own the most popular game.  The two biggest publishers in our industry, both want the biggest piece of the pie and this Fall there should be fireworks when Battlefield 3 launches side by side with the next Call of Duty (which we’re assuming to be Modern Warfare 3).

It looks like the Nintendo 3DS and PS Vita might not be receiving many EA games in the near future judging by recent comments made by CEO, Peter Moore. Peter Moore was interviewed extensively by GamesIndustry International. One of the interesting topics that were talked about was EA’s lack of development for handheld consoles like the PS Vita and 3DS. EA is now focusing more attention on consoles that show growth such as the PS4 and Xbox One.

First Look at Horror Visual Novel ‘Death Mark’ on PS4

Japanese developer Experience has released the first trailer of the PS4 version of Death Mark, a visual novel that tells a story of mystery and horror. The game was originally released on PSVita earlier this year, and now it’s making its way to Sony’s home console, and later to Nintendo Switch. These new ports will count with a few extras, like the bonus episode ‘Urban Legend: Little Red Riding Hood of the Rain,’ new monsters that appear on the main adventure, and a traces system highly demanded by the fans.
