Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, and Warriors Orochi coming to Switch
Bandai Namco is going all in on Nintendo Switch, with the company launching the latest entries of its musou series on the hybrid console. Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires, Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada, and Warriors Orochi 3: Ultimate are launching separately in Japan on November 9, with a release for the West still to be confirmed. The games will include all the downloadable content from their most recent versions for PS4, PSVita, Xbox One, and PC, although they are not expected to present any new features exclusive to Nintendo Switch.
Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia DLC Detailed
Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia will arrive shortly on May 19th for the Nintendo 3DS and will apparently launch with day one dlc, despite Nintendo claiming that the game is filled to th ebrim with content.
The DLC, five packs in all, will add maps, dungeons, characters, and items to the base game.
Starting on May 19th, the launch day for the game players can purchase the Season Pass for the game.
Hitman Summer Bonus Episode Out Next Month
A standalone bonus episode for the new version of Hitman will be releasing next month, which has Agent 47 journeying to Sapienza and Marrakesh for two separate ICA missions.
Here’s what IO Interactive’s Hannes Seifert said about the new episode:
“We’ve created not one, but two missions for the Summer Bonus Episode and players will revisit the hugely popular Sapienza and Marrakesh locations with a completely different feel. It allows us to show what we can do with HITMAN as a live game – we even introduced a crazy giant killer robot, but it’s also the perfect midway point in the HITMAN season before the final three locations.
J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Is Going All-In On Gaming
J.J. Abrams’ production company Bad Robot is going all in on gaming.
According to an announcement from company president and COO Brian Weinstein, a new division — titled Bad Robot Games — has been formed thanks to a “strategic relationship” with Chinese internet giant Tencent. It will be led by Dave Baronoff, who has led Bad Robot Productions’ games and interactive content creation since 2006.
In addition, this venture is also backed by Warner Bros.
