Riders Republic: What is Zen Mode?

Riders Republic is an upcoming open-world sports game where you can take on breathtaking environments from actual national parks across the United States. In doing so, you can take on various activities like skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and flying via wingsuit and rocket wingsuit. When you enter the main menu of the game, you can take on two different modes: Zen mode and New Game. The New Game option is basically where you’ll start your actual career in the game with the story and everything.

The Black Ops 3 Beta launched last night for the PlayStation 4 and many have likely jumped on to test Treyarch’s latest.  Today unfortunately, players are being greeted with the inability to play the beta and a mandatory update. While our time with the game was relatively problem free, a server queue screen is preventing many from playing at the moment.  While queues happen a lot in the launches, this one has tens of thousands of players who want to test out Black Ops 3 waiting in line.

Bethesda E3 2019: The Good, Bad And Ugly

Bethesda is back…and it didn’t have much to show off this year. Most of what it did show were either games that we knew about or updates for pre-existing titles, so there wasn’t too much to be surprised over. That said, all it needed to show was Doom Eternal and offer a release date, which it did; so while the event was relatively lackluster, that reveal was no-doubt a beautiful, gory win.

Guild Wars 2 World vs World Multiplayer Gameplay

The developers for Guild Wars 2 have recently compiled a brand new gameplay showcase video that introduces “World vs. World” PvP play. Matt Witter and Mike Ferguson explain how three teams battle for control over objective in massive player vs player environments. With wars that can last literally for weeks, and uncountable ways to contribute to the battle, World vs World mode is PvP on steroids. Guild Wars 2 is due to release on August 28th, 2012.

Lebron James selects this year’s NBA 2K14 Soundtrack

The Miami Heat’s Lebron James has selected this year’s soundtrack for NBA 2K14.  The 20-song soundtrack includes the likes of Robin Thicke, Daft Punk, Drake, and Coldplay.  James is the first cover athlete given the freedom to take control of the 2K playlist, and “his selections” are a wide ranging group of tracks. James said in a press release, “I love that I’m the first NBA 2K cover athlete to choose the soundtrack.

Steam Big Picture Mode goes public, game sale begins

Valve’s Big Picture Mode officially leaves its beta testing period behind as today marks the software’s public release.   All Steam users now have access to the software, which has been designed to allow players to use a traditional gamepad on a television, from the comfort of their favorite lounging spot, instead of desktop of laptop environments. To celebrate the launch of Big Picture, Valve is also slashing prices on some of the controller friendly games in the massive Steam lineup, offering gamers up to 75% off.

Sunset Overdrive Season Pass Revealed By Microsoft And Insomniac

In recent years, most every major release has at least some sort of post-release DLC and season passes have been a good way to offer a set portion of the DLC at a somewhat discounted price. With Sunset Overdrive being one of Microsoft’s biggest releases of the fall, there was little doubt that we would be getting a Season Pass for the game, but now Microsoft and Insomniac Games have officially revealed the Sunset Overdrive Season Pass.
