Metal Gear Solid 5 Engine on display next month

Kojima Productions will showcase the technology behind Metal Gear Solid 5 on August 30th. The Fox Engine, which was revealed a couple years back, is the technology that will be used in KojiPro games going forward. In a recent retrospective article on the PlayStation Blog, the Metal Gear creator explains that the Fox Engine is “nearly finished”. “The Fox Engine is nearly finished, but the only way to be sure it works is to create a game at the same time and improve the engine with our tools as we go along.
