The studio responsible for the popular PlayStation Wipeout series has been shuttered. SCE Liverpool, previously known as Psygnosis has been part of Sony’s stable of developers since 1993. Black Ops II will feature upgraded Nuketown map
If you played Call of Duty: Black Ops for any amount of time, you likely found yourself in Nuketown. A small map that was a fan favorite by Black Ops players, is reportedly heading to Call of Duty: Black Ops II as a pre-order bonus.
Unconfirmed by Activision at this point, the Nuketown map is allegedly a remake of the popular map, and is called NukeTown 2025. The image above was spotted at a retailer in Ireland, and is listed as “Our Most Popular Map, Re-imagined for the future,” Treyarch is also calling this “The Biggest Incentive in Call of Duty History”.
Fable Legends Won’t Have Expensive DLC Like Evolve
Even though Fable Legends has been announced as a “free-to-play” video game, Lionhead Studios promises the game’s DLC won’t be expensive. Fable Legends’ game director, David Eckelberry, talked more about the game on the latest issue of PC Gamer UK magazine. He promises the DLC in the game will be fairly priced. Eckelberry actually took a shot at the DLC model that Evolve has implemented. He said in Fable Legends, you don’t have to pay “$60 for the disc and $150 for DLC“.
Killzone 3 Tops Pre-order Charts
Gamers are really excited about the upcoming release of Killzone 3. Aside from Gran Turismo 5, this could be one of the most highly anticipated PS3 titles in recent memory. This anticipation has landed Guerrilla Games’ upcoming shooter in the top spot of Amazon’s pre-order chart. Prey 2 Announced by Bethesda Tenative 2012 Release
Human Head Studios will be heading up Prey 2 to be published by Bethesda. The original Prey which launched back in 2006 for the Xbox 360 and PC found quite a following in the early stages of the Xbox 360’s life. The game was originally published by 2K games, but has now switched to Bethesda for the next game. Human Head Studios has stated that the second installment will use cutting edge technology from the id Tech Engine.
Rocket League Gets Two More DLC Cars in July
Rocket League is adding two new DLC cars to the mix on July 18th. The cars actually aren’t brand new, as they are recreations from Rocket League’s much less well-known predecessor, Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle Cars. The two being added are previous fan favorites, bringing back the Aftershock and Marauder.
While these two cars will be available via DLC on July 18th they’ll also be available a bit earlier for those who purchase the physical collector’s Edition of Rocket League.
