Yakuza Kiwami Review

As a lover of Japanese and niche titles, it’s always a joyous occasion for me when they catch on with a Western audience. Right now, Yakuza is the series that has left me beaming more than any other thanks to increased efforts by Sega to popularize the series in the West. Sega turned heads in the first half of 2017 when Yakuza 0 made everyone learn what they have been missing out on all these years and it is looking to do the same in the latter half of 2017 with the release of Yakuza Kiwami.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Can You Get Married?

Animal Crossing has always been about the variety of different characters in the game, whether it’s your own custom created Villager or the slew of other villagers you will come across in the game. Relationships between these characters are very important, as friendship means a lot when you are building a town with many different people. These are the reasons people keep coming back all year around to Animal Crossing to check on your friends, but one area the series has now tackled before has been actual romantic relationships.

Gamers will get even more Assassin’s Creed this fall, this time with two games, as reported by Kotaku. Assassin’s Creed: Unity is the current codename of one of the two upcoming releases, with the other codenamed Comet. Blue Dragon Joins Xbox One Backwards Compatibility

We learned earlier this year that backwards compatibility support for Blue Dragon was in the works, but today marks the day when that support is finally available. If you own Blue Dragon on Xbox 360 (or plan to get it) then you’ll be able to play it on your Xbox One going forward. The announcement was made by Xbox’s Major Nelson on Twitter, which Xbox’s Phil Spencer even replied to saying “YES, finally got BD in back compat, congrats team.

Life is Strange: True Colors: What is the Correct Order for Duckie and Diane?

Being a server in Life is Strange: True Colors can be tough, especially when you can’t quite remember what someone ordered. In Chapter 1 of the game, Alex has to wait tables at The Black Lantern bar, and she has to remember the order for Duckie and Diane. The game doesn’t tell you that you have to memorize the order yourself, so some players are caught off guard when Jed asks them what food to make.

Mad Catz Is Returning This Year

Almost a year since Mad Catz filed for bankruptcy and shut down, a new press release has revealed that the famed game hardware maker will be returning to the fray this year in the form of a new company called Mad Catz Global Limited. Mad Catz was founded in 1989 and went on to become one of the biggest names in gaming hardware production. Though it created peripherals of all sorts (which didn’t always work), it was perhaps most well-known within the fighting game community thanks to all the fightsticks and gamepads it developed (which did work), as well as it sponsoring prominent players such as Daigo Umehara, Hajime Taniguchi (Tokido) and Kenryo Hayashi (Mago).

Modern Warfare – How to Get Pink Bullets

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been getting some pretty outlandish cosmetics added to the game post-launch, so you may have been surprised to see some people in your matches with pink weapons that shoot pink bullets. This isn’t a glitch or anything, but rather a new bundle that’s appeared in the store that gives players a bevy of anime-inspired weaponry and cosmetics. How to Get Pink Bullets in Modern Warfare To get pink bullets in Modern Warfare, you have to buy the Tracer Pack: Anime Bundle from the store for 1800 COD Points.

Orange Shirt Kid Gets Justice & Emote For Fortnite Battle Royale Season 4

Fans of Fortnite spoke, and apparently Epic Games was listening.  The recent promotion for Fortnite in which they asked for community submissions to be included in the game as a brand new emote ended, but not with the winner that many wanted. Among the many submissions for the promotion, one seemed to resonate with fans of Fortnite.  Orange Shirt Kid and his dance moves quickly became one of the fan favorites in the contest, but did not win the promotion.

Rumor: Resident Evil 7 To Be Announced At E3, Will Be A “Clean Slate” For Series

We have learned previously that Capcom has three major unannounced games that will release by early next year, with one of them in particular seeming like it will be the highly-anticipated Resident Evil 7. Now, to further fuel those rumors comes word from Kantan Games CEO, Dr. Serkan Toto, who claims that the game is in development and will be shown at E3. Dr. Serkan Toto took to Twitter to share some information on the game, where he says that the game will “go back to RE’s horror roots and (essentially) be a clean slate.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor Patch Notes Detail New Content and Vampire Changes

In the wee hours of the morning (where I’m sitting on the West Coast of the US, at least), Zenimax Online Studios posted the finalized patch notes for the Greymoor Chapter and its associated Update 26 coming to The Elder Scrolls Online. Though, by the time you’re reading this the PC servers are likely back online and Greymoor is live (sorry console fans; you have to wait until June 9th).
