80s-Inspired Sandbox Game, American Fugitive, Coming this Year
It’s the 1980s. You’ve been sentenced for a crime you didn’t commit. It’s time to break out of prison and get revenge.
Indie developer Fallen Tree Games and publisher Curve Digital recently announced in a press release the upcoming game American Fugitive, an open-world sandbox action game that is heavily inspired by 80s action movies and video games. Fallen Tree Games is an indie studio comprised of developers that have previously worked on games like TimeSplitters, Crysis, and Goldeneye 007: Reloaded.
Black Ops Most Popular Game in the U.S.
Call of Duty Black Ops was crowned the most popular of all games yesterday when the NPD released it’s numbers for North America. Call of Duty: Black Ops was released on 360, PS3, Wii, PC, and DS all which were included in the tally for best selling game of 2010. In comparison to it’s closets competition Call of Duty: Black Ops sold nearly twice as much as the closest game, Madden 2011.
God of War New Game Plus Mode Coming August 20th
God of War probably should’ve launched earlier this year with a New Game Plus mode to give players something to do after completing Kratos’ latest adventure. Unfortunately it didn’t, but later this month you’re going to have a reason to come back to critically acclaimed PlayStation 4 exclusive when Sony Santa Monica finally releases the feature.
Beginning on August 20th, New Game + will be a feature in God of War.
Grounded – Where to Find Grubs and Grub Hide
Grubs are some of the smallest and least harmful bugs in Grounded, but that doesn’t mean they’re not important. Grub Hide is used in a few very important crafting recipes, including the Canteen and Grub Vest, so it’s important to stock up whenever have an opportunity to do so. Thankfully, Grubs are not that hard to find, and getting Grub Hide from them is even easier. It does require a specific tool, but that’s easy to get too.

By the time you may it to the end of Bottle Grotto, you will find yourself in a fight with the Genie Boss, which is very different than anything else you’ve faced so far in The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening.
Mighty No. 9 Gets An Animated Series And A New Fundraiser
Mighty No. 9 the massively successful Kickstarter game from Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune, has made a big double announcement. First up, the game will have its own animated series to accompany it. Debuting in 2016 Mighty No. 9: The Animated Series is developed by Digital Frontier. It seems to follow a similar story to the game, and stars the same characters that propelled the Kickstarter to $3.8 million.
The story synopsis reads: “The story focuses on BECK, a weak transforming combat robot, who was made to fight in a combat robot league as a part of the MIGHTY NUMBERS, the strongest robots in the world.

Mortal Kombat x Street Fighter Will Never Happen Because It’s Too Violent For Capcom
Many fans have been wanting a crossover Mortal Kombat x Street Fighter game for years now. There’s a reason it has never happened and that’s because Capcom is uncomfortable with how violent the game could be. Metro spoke with a NetherRealm Studios developer while previewing Mortal Kombat X earlier this month. The talk spilled over about a possible Mortal Kombat x Street Fighter crossover game for some reason. The developer noted they like to “keep in touch with Capcom”, but both sides have never been able to go ahead with a crossover game.
