Counter Spy is a stealth game which uses a 2D/3D hybrid perspective and brings forward a lot of great ideas for the genre. Releasing as part of Sony’s Summer Play promotion and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, Counter Spy is the first game from a small independent studio called Dynamighty. In an alternate Cold War reality, players take on the role of an agent of C.O.U.N.T.E.R. This rogue organization answers to no government, functioning as an independent spy agency.

First Images of Final Fantasy XIV ‘Return to Ivalice’ Raid Revealed
The Final Fantasy XIV team has revealed today the first look into the upcoming Alliance Raid based on the world of Ivalice, as part of the new Patch 4.1 scheduled for October. The images show the outside of the Royal City of Rabanastre, which is taken from Final Fantasy XII, but in the world of Eorzea it’s located near Othard, a region that is starting to rise up in rebellion against the Garlean Empire.

2K Games has released some new WWE 2K15 screenshots that take a look at the numerous NXT Superstars that are in the game.
The screenshots mainly focus on Corey Graves. Graves has been on NXT for many years and it’s good to see him have his video game debut in WWE 2K15. His character model looks very realistic as they have animated all of his tattoos properly. Players are sure to encounter him in the game’s MyCAREER mode.

PS3 Firware 3.56 Goes Live Breaks Jailbreak with Security
Sony has released Firmware Update 3.56 which included no usage to PlayStation 3 owners other than to effectively stop jailbroken PS3’s from accessing the PlayStation Network. The security patch is likely the first in a long line of patches that Sony will need issue to combat the recent compromise of security on the platform. A brighter note for PS3 players that have been experiencing rampant cheating in online games like Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 this should give you a much needed reprieve from modders.
PUBG Update 1.75 Patch Notes
Update 1.75 has arrived for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.
Last week on August 12th, the developer for PUBG released update 1.74 for both the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game. The update was essentially the same as patch 13.1 which came out for the PC version earlier in the month of August.
Aside from bug fixes, the update also added some new content and gameplay adjustments.
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Gamecube Controller Available for Pre-Order Now
Nintendo announced back in May that they would be releasing new, and official Gamecube controllers for the release of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. The new, and specially branded, controllers have just popped up for pre-order over on Best Buy’s website for a retail price of $29.99. The adapter, which allows the Wii U to use Gamecube controllers, is also available for $19.99.
