Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics revealed today that the suit used by Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War is coming to Marvel’s Avengers. According to the game’s developers, on Marvel’s Avengers official Twitter, the new Black Panther outfit will become available tomorrow (September 16) as a new addition to the game’s Marketplace. The new skin will be the latest in a long list of MCU inspired outfits, which also features the outfits used by Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Hulk on Avengers Endgame, the white outfit used by Black Widow in her solo movie, and the suit used by Captain America on the first Avengers movie, released on 2012. Wakanda’s protector is also the latest addition to the game’s roster, which currently features the six core members showcased in the title’s main campaign, plus Clint Barton and Kate Bishop. According to its developers, Marvel’s Avengers is set to receive many more playable heroes in the future.

Black Panther debuted as part of Marvel’s Avengers new expansion, War for Wakanda, which was released on August 17, 2021, as a free update to all that already own the base game. On it, players can experience a whole new chapter in the game’s story, now taking place in the hidden nation of Wakanda.
