The length of gameplay revealed in Disney Infinity 3.0’s Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens play set has now been revealed. It will be slightly longer than past offerings.
Forbes had a chance to interview Mathew Solie who is the Disney Interactive producer. Solie talked in a little more detail about the Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens play set that features in Disney Infinity 3.0.
First of all, Solie mentioned how long this play set will be. He said players will be able to experience the entire story of the movie and the play set will last around “6 to 8 hours” long. Solie also says the game will retell the events of the film and you will visit many of the planets in the game.
The only planet he’s allowed to mention right now is Jakku. This means there will be several other planets both in the film and Disney Infinity 3.0 that the characters will visit in. It will be interesting if the characters visit familiar planets like Tatooine. One has to wonder where Luke Skywalker is hiding…
The only characters announced for this play set are: Rey, Finn, Kylo Ren and Poe Dameron. As time goes by, more characters will be added over time. We may see Luke Skywalker being added way after the film has been released and everyone knows where he was.
The Force Awakens Disney Infinity 3.0 play set releases on December 18th. This is the same day that the movie comes out in North America.
