EA has now revealed the player ratings for the rookies in NHL 16. The top rookies were unveiled.

The top rookies in NHL 16 were posted up on the official NHL website. The best of the young players is Connor McDavid who is from the Edmonton Oilers. He has an overall rating of 82.

82 is a respectable score, although McDavid is not near the level of Sidney Crosby. Crosby is the best player in the entire game and has an overall rating of 96.

The other rookie ratings are: “Emile Poirier, Calgary, 80; Oliver Bjorkstrand, Columbus, 80; Mackenzie Skapski, New York Rangers, 80; Ronalds Kenins, Vancouver, 80; Nick Ritchie, Anaheim, 79; Ryan Hartman, Chicago, 79; Ryan Pulock, New York Islanders, 79; Ivan Barbashev, St. Louis, 79; Connor Brown, Toronto, 79; Jake Virtanen, Vancouver, 79; Madison Bowey, Washington, 79; Josh Morrissey, Winnipeg, 79; Nic Petan, Winnipeg, 79; Nikolaj Ehlers, Winnipeg, 79; and Shea Theodore, Anaheim, 78.”

EA Sports notes that it takes extra care to get the player ratings in NHL 16 as accurate as they can be. The developer consults with pro scouts and evaluates players’ individual skills before deciding on a rating.

EA Sports also says player ratings can change midway through the season. If players get better or worse, EA will implement an update to NHL 16 to reflect that as soon as possible.
