Fable-Legends

A user on Reddit has leaked a photo of Fable Legends showing all of the microtransactions it plans to add.

The link shows you to the photo of the pricing plan that Fable Legends plans to have on its microtransactions. You will be able to purchase gold using you own money.

The advertised “best offer” is getting 12,800 coins of gold for $59.99. The prices go lower from there. 6000 gold costs $29.99, 2850 gold is $14.99, 1850 gold is $9.99 and 850 gold is only $4.99.

Obviously, a ton of people are upset about this. Microtransactions have been included in AAA games more frequently as they are popular amongst smartphone games.

However, one thing to note is that Fable Legends is a free to play video game. Unlike other AAA video games, you’re not spending extra money on top of the $59.999 you already paid for the game.

Microtransactions will continue to stay since people still love to use them a lot. Microsoft and 343 Industries have already earned a few million dollars on microtransactions alone in Halo 5: Guardians.

Some people are just sad that the Fable franchise is not what it used to be. The franchise was a single player experience, but Legends is a different genre altogether.
