Half Life 3 has been wanted for a over decade now after the release of Half Life 2 came out in 2004. How far would you go to make the game become a reality?

A dedicated group of fans are actually organizing a campaign to convince Valve to actually make Half Life 3. The catch is that the campaign has been set up on Indiegogo and it’s asking fans to pay over $150,000 for it.

The Half Life 3 campaign does not have to be $150,000 as there are other milestones to achieve. The cheapest milestone is $3000 where they will use an “Adword Campaign” that will target Valve employees with the words “WE WANT HALF LIFE 3”.

The next achievement is $9000 where they will have several trucks moving with a big billboard saying “WE WANT HALF LIFE 3” again. These trucks will be driving around Valve HQ in Bellevue, Washington.

The third milestone sounds weird, but will cost you $45,000. They will find Gabe Newell lookalikes that will wear shirts that say “We Want HL3” t-shirts. This one is expensive, but the other two milestones will also be included if it reaches that far.

The last milestone is the maximum $150,000. This will include all of the above goals, plus they will stage a special Half Life concert for fans in Seattle. It will feature the biggest names in video game music. The team will try and invite every employee of Valve including Gabe Newell to the concert.

Will you be hardcore enough to fund a campaign to make Half Life 3 a reality?
