The next season for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is set to arrive on April 30th.  Treyarch is calling it Operation Spectre Rising as it features one of the more popular Black Ops Specialists from Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 in the sword-wielding Spectre.  The new character will seemingly be added to both the multiplayer suite and Blackout portions of the game.  In a new trailer that shows an overview of the new content it looks like there’s going to be a lot on the plate for this next season of Black Ops 4.  From multiplayer additions in the new Specialist, to new maps as well.   From the trailer we see that new maps Masquerade, Artifact, and WMD will be making their debut with the arrival of this new operation.

In Blackout, changes appear to be coming as well as this latest trailer shows off the Hydro Dam in Blackout flooding the map.  The trailer shows much of the Blackout map flooded by water, from Firing Range to Cargo and Factory all areas seem to have been impacted by the water.  It’s unclear if the map will be changed entirely across all modes or if Wetworks will be a unique mode where water impacts the map.  There will also be some new characters in Blackout as well.  The trailer shows off an older version of Frank Woods, Sarah Hall (BO3), Blackjack, and Sergei Kozin.

The new Black Ops 4 Operation will bring with it new modes in multiplayer as well, with one called Bounty Hunter, the return of Prop Hunt, and Zombies Gauntlets.  On the weapons front, the Ballistic Knife will make its debut, as well as the Tigershark LMG, and a melee weapon called the Nifo’oti Club.  Other new things to look for in the latest Black Ops 4 Operation are going to be Weapon Charms.

You can check out the overview of the new Spectre Rising Operation in the trailer below, before it arrives on April 30th.
