Blizzard has launched the latest Overwatch Halloween event, and it has some new skins worth acquiring, assuming you don’t mind playing a few games a week. I’ve gone ahead and looked into how to earn all of them, and with the exception of three, they are all rather straight forward.
Skins earned via lootboxes or purchase with in-game currency.
- Pharaoh Ana can be acquired within a Halloween lootbox, or for 3000 coins.
- Scorpion Widowmaker can be acquired within a Halloween lootbox, or for 3000 coins.
- Will-O’-Wisp Tracer can be acquired within a Halloween lootbox, or for 3000 coins.
- Demon Orisa can be acquired within a Halloween lootbox, or for 3000 coins.
- Warlock Ashe can be acquired within a Halloween lootbox, or for 3000 coins.
- Gorgon Lucio can be acquired within a Halloween lootbox, or for 750 coins.
Win nine matches a week for these last three skins.
- Inferno Junkrat is earned after winning nine games in any combination of Quick Play, Arcade, or Competitive matches between October 15 – 21.
- Vampire Baptiste is earned after winning nine games in any combination of Quick Play, Arcade, or Competitive matches between October 22 – 28.
- Demon Hunter Sombra is earned after winning nine games in any combination of Quick Play, Arcade, or Competitive matches between October 29 and November 4.
With a bit of perseverance and a whole lot of grinding you should be able to grab most of the Halloween skins during the event. Three of them are pretty much yours so long as you log nine wins within a week, and you can easily get currency from crates you open to grab Lucio’s legendary skin. Everyone should be able to walk away with at least one of the skins, even if they put in minimal effort. That’s it for this guide: for more guides and tips be sure to check out our guides page!
