Street-Fighter-V-Arcade-Edition

Capcom has shared a new trailer of Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, focused on the new gameplay additions of this upcoming re-release, which will be available for free to all owners of the original version. The video highlights the new V-Triggers that will be added to the list of moves of every fighter in the roster, as well as combo extenders, mix ups, and new abilities.

V-Triggers are spectacular moves that can be unlocked by making an specific kind of attack that fill a bar on the low side of the screen. The new update adds a second type of V-Trigger for each character, bringing more variety and impressiveness to the battles. Other additional moves introduced are the mixers, which are combo attacks performed in collaboration with other characters.

While Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition may seem like the re-releases of previous generations, in which players were locked from getting new content, this new update will arrive for free to all owners of the game, being able to enjoy the new arcade mode, new interface, and gameplay additions for free. However, those who jump in with the revision will have unlocked the characters of the seasons 1 and 2, including Alex, Balrog, Guile, Ibuki, Juri, Urien, Abigail, Akuma, Ed, Kolin, Menat, and Zeku. Pre-orders will give users access to the 30th anniversary costumes.

Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition launches for PS4 and PC on January 16, 2018. Watch the trailer below.
